Premium aluminum composite panels (ACP) combining superior flatness, durability, and aesthetic versatility for building facades, curtain walls, and architectural cladding applications worldwide.
Ballesta aluminum composite panels are engineered for outstanding performance in exterior building applications. Each panel consists of two pre-painted aluminum skin sheets bonded to a polyethylene (PE) or fire-retardant (FR) mineral core. This three-layer composite structure delivers exceptional flatness, impact resistance, and weatherability. Available in a wide range of colors and finishes including PVDF, FEVE, and nanol coatings, our ACP panels are the preferred choice for curtain wall facades, column cladding, building renovation, and signage applications worldwide.
Two 0.08-0.50mm aluminum skins bonded to a PE or FR mineral core. The three-layer sandwich structure delivers superior flatness and rigidity while remaining lightweight for easy handling and installation.
Available in over 50 standard RAL colors plus custom color matching. Finish options include PVDF fluorocarbon (70% resin, 30-year warranty), FEVE, nanol coating, powder coating, and wood/stone grain transfer for unlimited architectural expression.
PVDF and FEVE coatings provide exceptional resistance to UV radiation, acid rain, salt spray, and environmental pollutants. Color retention and gloss stability are maintained for decades even in harsh coastal and industrial environments.
Available with fire-retardant (FR) mineral core meeting B1, A2 fire classification standards. Suitable for projects requiring strict fire safety compliance including high-rise buildings, airports, and public facilities.
Standard panel size 1220x2440mm (4'x8'). Custom sizes available up to 1500x4000mm. Panels can be routed, grooved, bent, and formed into complex shapes including curves and angles using CNC routers and folding equipment.
Engineered to withstand high wind loads with proper substructure design. Impact-resistant surface handles hail and debris without denting. Excellent flatness maintained over large panel spans with proper framing.

Ballesta Aluminum Composite Panel deliver measurable advantages in performance, durability, and value.
Weighing only 3.5-5.5 kg/m², ACP panels reduce structural steel requirements and foundation loads compared to stone, concrete, or solid metal cladding systems.
Ballesta ACP panels have been installed on hundreds of projects worldwide including airports, commercial towers, and shopping malls. Many early installations continue to perform after 20+ years in service.
The composite core minimizes thermal expansion and contraction, maintaining exceptional panel flatness across large surfaces. No oil-canning or visible distortion even on sun-exposed facades.
Panels can be cut, routed, and bent on-site using standard woodworking and metalworking tools. CNC routing produces precise grooves for sharp, clean fold lines, eliminating the need for welding.
Aluminum skins and the PE/FR core are fully recyclable at end of service life. ACP contributes toward LEED credits and sustainable building certifications.
Standard panels ship within 15-20 working days from drawing approval. Express production available for time-critical projects. Global logistics network ensures reliable delivery to project sites worldwide.
Ballesta Aluminum Composite Panel are specified by leading architects and contractors for landmark projects worldwide.
PE (polyethylene) core ACP is the standard grade offering excellent flatness and formability at a cost-effective price point. It is suitable for most building applications where fire ratings are not the primary concern. FR (fire-retardant) core ACP contains mineral additives that significantly reduce flame spread and smoke generation, meeting B1 or A2 fire classification. We recommend FR core for high-rise buildings (above 24m), public facilities, airports, and any project with strict fire safety requirements.
Ballesta offers PVDF fluorocarbon coating (70% resin content, 25-35 micron thickness) as the premium option with 20-30 year color warranty. FEVE coating provides similar durability at a lower cost. Standard PE polyester coating is economical for interior applications or budget-conscious projects. Nanol coating offers self-cleaning properties. All coatings are applied in a controlled factory environment using automated roll-coating or spray-coating lines.
Yes. ACP panels are inherently formable. Using CNC routers to create precise V-grooves on the back skin, panels can be folded into sharp angles, curves, and box shapes. For gentle curves, panels can be roll-formed without routing. Ballesta's 13,000 sqm factory is equipped with 5-axis CNC machining centers and press brakes capable of producing complex curved and folded panels.
Standard panel size is 1220mm x 2440mm (4 x 8 feet). Custom sizes up to 1500mm x 4000mm are available for larger facade modules or column wraps. Please consult our engineering team for panels exceeding standard dimensions.
ACP panels are typically installed using a concealed bracket system or exposed screw-fixed system. Panels are pre-drilled or slotted for thermal movement. A drained and ventilated cavity is recommended behind the panels to manage condensation and thermal performance. Each panel must be installed with minimum 8-12mm gap for thermal expansion, sealed with weatherproof silicone or EPDM gaskets.
