The Ballesta Aurealis Curved Baffle System pushes the boundaries of conventional ceiling design by bending aluminum sheets into graceful, organic curves and sculptural three-dimensional forms. While traditional baffles follow straight lines, Aurealis uses the exceptional formability of aluminum to create flowing, artistic compositions that transform large interior spaces into architectural statements.
Each Aurealis panel can be curved into a wide variety of shapes - gentle arcs, S-curves, wave forms, and free-form profiles that flow naturally throughout the space. Panel heights can be uniform or varied within the same installation, allowing designers to create rhythm, depth, and visual interest. The standard thickness is 1.0mm, with other gauges available depending on design requirements.
The surface can be finished on both sides using double-side powder coating or double-side pre-rolled coil coating for a flawless appearance from every angle. Perforation patterns are available to add texture and visual depth, though the acoustic contribution is moderate - Aurealis is primarily a visual feature system designed to bring artistic expression to large-volume spaces such as airport lounges, museum halls, hotel atriums, and corporate lobbies.
Suspension is achieved via direct hanging or integrated carrier keel systems. All mounting clips feature anti-fall safety design for secure installation. Aurealis integrates seamlessly with architectural lighting - linear LED strips, spotlights, or backlighting can be incorporated to create layered, dramatic ceiling compositions that change character throughout the day.
